About this build

This Tesla Cybertruck came through our Los Angeles studio as a electric platform build — EV-specific spec considerations come into play: glass curvature, charge-port edges, and the way battery heat moves through the cabin all factor into the install plan. Gloss keeps the factory-paint depth front-and-centre while the colour shift carries the look. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

For this project, the stainless exterior was converted into a deep gloss black finish using high-clarity protective film. The goal was to create a solid, reflective surface while maintaining full paint protection properties. in Los Angeles, where vehicles see constant sun exposure, we also applied ceramic tint to reduce interior heat and improve driving comfort. Once the film installation was complete, a ceramic coating was layered over the exterior surfaces to enhance hydrophobic behavior and simplify maintenance. The final stage involved detailed inspection under controlled lighting to eliminate micro air channels along the large door panels.

What we used on this Tesla

Why these finishes were combined

Tesla builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: paint protection film keeps the exterior factory-perfect against road debris and UV, while ceramic tint cuts the heat soak that California sun pushes into a closed cabin; PPF stops the impact and chemical hits, ceramic coating sits on top so washing the car takes a fraction of the time and grime does not bake in.

What to expect after the install

Every Tesla build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
