About this build

This Tesla Model 3 came through our Los Angeles studio as a electric platform build — EV-specific spec considerations come into play: glass curvature, charge-port edges, and the way battery heat moves through the cabin all factor into the install plan. The matte finish is the call when the owner wants the car to read low-profile under daylight and refuse to flash highlights at night. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

This Tesla Model 3 was wrapped in a matte brown metallic — a warm bronze finish that shifts tone in direct sun and reads near-black in shade. Full exterior vinyl coverage from roof to rockers, with mirror caps kept factory for contrast.

Matte metallic pigments need consistent film tension across long panels like the Model 3 hood and rear glass surround, or the particle reflection goes uneven. We heat-stretched the film into the curved roofline in one continuous piece to avoid any visible seam. If you want this look with added chip protection, Color PPF is the film-backed equivalent — our Color PPF explainer compares the two, or browse more Tesla wrap builds from the shop.

What we used on this Tesla

Why these finishes were combined

Tesla builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: the wrap delivers the colour and finish, the coating helps the vinyl shed dust and dead bugs between washes; a colour change on the body looks more deliberate when the cabin glass is tinted to match the new exterior tone.

What to expect after the install

Every Tesla build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
