About this build

This Tesla Model S came through our Los Angeles studio as a electric platform build — EV-specific spec considerations come into play: glass curvature, charge-port edges, and the way battery heat moves through the cabin all factor into the install plan. Satin is the in-between choice — deeper than matte, calmer than gloss, and the most forgiving on day-to-day swirl marks. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

This project introduced a satin desert tan finish that gives the sedan a warm, understated color profile. The satin texture diffuses reflections while allowing the body lines to remain clearly defined. Lighting elements were subtly darkened to match the overall tone of the exterior. A ceramic coating layer was applied afterward to improve surface durability and simplify maintenance. The installation required careful film alignment along the long side panels where even small shifts in color orientation can become visible under strong daylight.

What we used on this Tesla

Why these finishes were combined

Tesla builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: the wrap delivers the colour and finish, the coating helps the vinyl shed dust and dead bugs between washes.

What to expect after the install

Every Tesla build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
